This fall I will be starting my 31st year teaching at Wabasso Public School. I graduated from Wabasso in 1988 and attended St. Cloud State University where I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a licensure in coaching. I am our elementary lead teacher,Title I coordinator and 1st grade team teacher with Mrs. Rohlik. I live in Wabasso with my husband Pat. Pat works for KEI, the John Deere Dealership, here in town. We have 3 daughters who follow in my footsteps of education. Our oldest daughter, Kendra, lives in Brookings, SD. She is the athletic academic advisor for 8 sporting teams at SDSU. Our middle daughter, Karlee, is the school counselor here at Wabasso. I am so excited to be able to work with her each day. Our third daughter, Cora, is a senior at Minnesota State University Mankato and is completing her degree in elementary education. I enjoy spending time with my family, decorating, painting old furniture and flea markets. I also enjoy my flower garden, attending sporting events and of course my morning coffee. I am looking forward to a year of exploring, learning and sharing with your child. Thank you in advance for all your help from home as parents. Together we can do wonderful things!!! Jenny Eichten |
